Assistant Manager Procurement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with MTJ Foundation’s goals.
  • Forecast needs as per programs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Identify, evaluate, and maintain long-term relationships with reliable vendors.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement, including timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain transparency, enforce ethical practices, and keep accurate records for audits.
  • Assess procurement risks, resolve supplier issues related to delivery and payment.
  • Prepare detailed procurement reports and ensure records are complete and up-to-date.
  • Supervise and train procurement staff to enhance team efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management preferred.
  • Professional certifications in Procurement are an advantage.
  • Must have 3–5 years of experience in the relevant field, preferably in the NGO sector.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement policies and procedures.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and procurement-related software.
