Our natural ecosystems’ preservation and restoration are priorities for the MTJ Foundation. We do this by planting natural landscapes around paths and roadsides. Because they stop soil erosion and filter pollutants, these green lanes, ornamented with trees and prairie plants, are essential to maintaining the purity of the water. We contribute to a better environment for coming generations by fostering the infiltration of rainwater and developing healthy habitats for pollinators.

The goal of the MTJ Foundation is to restore our landscapes by carefully placing native trees and grassland plants. We successfully solve important environmental issues including soil erosion, stormwater management, and snow reduction by creating these natural corridors along roadside and trailside. We work together with local communities to create detailed plans that successfully incorporate these resilient plants and see to it that they are implemented.

Communities are given the tools they need by MTJ Foundation to take care of their own green areas. We establish and care for a variety of trees through volunteer-led projects, converting parks, streets, and other public spaces into vibrant ecosystems. In order to restore essential tree cover, we also support reforestation initiatives that are carried out after natural catastrophes.

Growing Futures, an initiative of the MTJ Foundation, nurtures our urban trees while empowering youth. By hiring high school students from marginalized areas, we provide doors to civic involvement and personal development. Our program’s main goal is to create a healthier environment and a better future for our children by planting, maintaining, and caring for trees. Participants gain vital life and career skills via practical experience and mentoring, equipping them for success after high school. Our objective is to bring this ground-breaking initiative to other communities across the country, leaving a legacy of green places and young leaders with confidence.

The carbon-capturing powerhouses of nature are trees. To fight climate change, we plant and maintain trees. At the vanguard of this crucial endeavor is the MTJ Foundation.
