Health is a blessing and is required to live life fully. It is very necessary for all of us to maintain a healthy lifestyle in order to be fit and fearless of diseases. Being healthy brings happiness to our lives and helps us live a stress- and disease-free life. Pakistan faces many challenges in the field of health. The health situation in Pakistan is very alarming. Pakistan is at a high risk of epidemics brought on by communicable diseases due to overpopulation, unsafe drinking water, poor sanitation, deplorable socioeconomic conditions, low health awareness, and insufficient vaccination coverage. If we discuss Tulumba, Tulumba is a backward area of Punjab, Pakistan. In Tulumba, more than 60 percent of people are considered to live below the poverty line. Due to a lack of resources, some people cannot even meet their most basic demands. This leads to many problems, including health problems. Diseases such as stunting are present in the majority of children from birth. Due to limited resources, poor households find it extremely difficult to manage their monthly expenses in the event of illness. Apart from this, emergency problems have to be faced during the birth of children (both mother and child). There are not enough local hospitals, nurses, and medical professionals in Tulumba to care for everyone who lives in poverty. That’s why the Molana Tariq Jamil Foundation, a non-profit organization in Pakistan, has launched a health project to provide medical assistance to thousands of people in need. The project, which is funded entirely through donations, aims to provide access to quality healthcare for those who may not have the means to afford it otherwise. The health project has been a great success so far, with thousands of people receiving medical treatment and support. The foundation has signed MOUs with local hospitals and clinics to provide medical services such as check-ups, diagnostics, and treatments for a range of conditions. In addition to providing direct medical assistance, the foundation has also focused on educating the public about the importance of maintaining good health and preventing illness. They have organized health camps and seminars to raise awareness about various health issues and how to prevent them. One of the key objectives of the health project is to ensure that the medical care provided is free and accessible to all. Alhamdulillah, so far, the Molana Tariq Jamil Foundation has treated more than three thousand patients in different hospitals. The Tariq Jamil Foundation also provides an ambulance facility to transport patients across the region to various hospitals. In conclusion, the Molana Tariq Jamil Foundation’s Health Program is a noble initiative aimed at addressing the health crisis in the most backward areas of Pakistan, particularly in Tulumba. This effort is a step towards ensuring that everyone in this backward area has access to health facilities and a dignified life. The foundation continues to work towards its goal of providing health facilities for all those in need, and it’s a noble effort to help the people of Tulumba.
